March On!

I'm feeling pretty inspired, sitting at our kitchen table looking out at the garden I have created this year and feeling pretty proud of myself. It’s a beautiful autumn day in Dunedin and I have been combining work with pleasure as its Otago Anniversary Day today.

Thought I would give you some information about some pretty cool Rum that we stock. No, its not just tequila that we love, we are also in awe of this product and it comes in a very original bottle!

DEADHEAD RUM
  • The bottle is a representation of a tsantsa, the severed head of an enemy shrunken and kept as a trophy.
  • The design is the artistic vision of Kim Brandi at Iconic Beverages USA.
  • This innovative Rum is produced in the Caribbean coast in the Mexican state of Veracruz.
  • 80 proof. Deadhead Rum has a rich amber hue; an impossibly light body and a bouquet saturated with the aromas of coffee, chocolate, allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • Aged for a minimum of 6 years.
  • Ideal for sipping after dinner, or … a premium cocktail mixer. We love this Rum with a splash of ginger ale, fresh mint and a squeeze of lime on ice – YUM!
